Accessibility Statement
Chairlink is for every dental professional, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, voice control or reduced motion. This website, chairlink.io, is designed and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and every page is written as valid HTML according to the W3C.
Last reviewed: September 23, 2026
How we test
Every change to the website runs through the same checks before it can be published:
- W3C HTML validation of every page with the official Nu HTML Checker. A page with a single validation error is not published.
- Automated accessibility testing of every page with axe-core against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, at a phone width (375 pixels) and a desktop width (1280 pixels), with the mobile menu both closed and open.
- Responsive layout: a page fails if content scrolls sideways or text is cut off on a 375 pixel wide screen.
- Manual review of new sections for keyboard use, visible focus, heading order and reduced motion.
You can check any page yourself: the “W3C valid HTML” link in the footer opens the W3C validator for the page you are on.
What we do on every page
- A “Skip to main content” link as the first element, one main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline. The mobile menu closes with Escape and returns focus to its button.
- Text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio; buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels.
- Animations that repeat have a Pause button and stop while they are off screen or the tab is in the background. If your device asks for reduced motion, nothing moves on its own: pages show the final state.
- No audio or video plays on its own. Decorative images and illustrations are hidden from screen readers; meaningful images have text alternatives.
- Pages work at 200% zoom and in portrait and landscape orientation.
Known limitations
- The form on the sign-up page is provided by a third party (LeadConnector) inside a frame. We cannot test or change its markup. If it does not work for you, email us and we will register you directly.
- This statement covers chairlink.io. The Chairlink application at app.chairlink.io, including Coach voice conversations, is a separate product with its own review.
- Automated tools find many, but not all, accessibility problems. We have not yet commissioned an independent audit with assistive-technology users.
